Cult comedians Rowan and Martin made their film debut in this farcical look at the western film. The two are cowpokes who can't decide whether to turn criminal or go straight. Neither way really matters because they are unsuccessful no matter what their path. The weak story was just a structure for a number of gags, many genuinely funny. Rowan and Martin were later to achieve fame as the cohosts of their popular television series "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In." leave a comment
