The Last Horror Film

This self-consciously amusing slasher film stars cult favorite Munro as an actress with a cult following who is visiting Cannes for the film festival. Also visiting the Riviera is Spinell, a New York taxi driver and her most devoted fan, who is convinced that she can be a great actress under his direction. When he invades her hotel room while she is taking a shower and makes his offer, she tries to toss him out. He smashes the bottle of champagne he brought with him and holds the jagged edge up to her throat.
