The comedy team of Wheeler and Woolsey star as a pair of bumbling insurance investigators who help young Miss Lee restore a run-down hotel she has inherited. Lee falls in love with Wheeler against her mother's (Howland) wishes (Mom wants her to marry lawyer Harolde), but when Howland herself falls for Woolsey, she is helpless to protest. While the romantic angle works itself out, two rival bands of gangsters show up at the hotel to grab the contents of the safe, and shoot it out in the lobby, practically destroying the place. As it turns out, lawyer Harolde is the mastermind behind the villainous plot, and Woolsey and Wheeler marry Mother and Daughter at the fade-out. leave a comment
