Hoodwink: Review

Well-done film based on a true Australian criminal (played by Hargreaves) who faked blindness in order to ease his sentence when sent up for his crimes. The film starts out during the height of Hargreaves' criminal career and ends with his downfall, tracing the likable rogue's con game with the prison officials. Not a masterpiece of the genre by any means, but a surprisingly pleasant entertainment with a top-rate performance by Hargreaves. leave a comment
