Housewife Day receives a visit from her ex-lover, cad Tone, who gets a barbecue skewer in his chest for his presumptuousness. Dragging the "corpse" into her laundry room, Day spends the remainder of the preposterous picture looking alternately terrified and distraught as her nasty brother-in-law Clark (who had been rejected in his own amorous advances prior to her marriage to his brother, Bennett) discloses her affair to her husband and to Tone's wife, Moorehead.
