After viewing a performance of Ben Jonson's "Volpone," the seemingly wealthy Harrison decides to toy with three of his former mistresses. The ladies are Adams, a fading movie star, Capucine, a princess, and Hayward, a Texas millionairess. Each is notified that Harrison is dying and asked to visit him at his home.
