Douglas and Long are newlyweds with a few problems. First, they only have 36 hours together as he's a Navy man on a weekend pass. Next, they need a place to stay. They are offered an apartment by a mysterious stranger on her way to an elopement. Now the problems really begin! It seems the
apartment was formerly shared by three show girls who sent some gangsters to jail. The gangsters are out now and seek revenge. Not much suspense, despite the seemingly gripping plot and title.
