This harmless little rip-off of AMERICAN GRAFFITI is merely a series of vignettes about a group of kids in the 1950s that drive around in hot rods. The dialog is believable, and there are a few slightly satirical moments. The soundtrack of those great 1950s oldies just can't be beat. This
film is probably best remembered for its director, Baer, who was desperately trying to shake his image as Jethro, the idiotic hayseed nephew on the 1960s TV series "The Beverly Hillbillies."
