Elliott is a homesteader heading off to a Midwest Army base. There he's to pick up a load of dynamite for clearing land in his home state of Oregon. Land-grabber Seay hires Lowery, Elliott's partner, to double-cross his comrade on the way home. Before this can happen, they must deal with a few standards: a gang of ex-soldiers, a band of Indians, and a few malcontents.
