Well-meaning though cliche-ridden film about the kids of the 1960s. Pop singer Scardino is the standard misunderstood young man, who also leads a rock group. Nicol and Peterson are his rigid parents; Endersby and Henry are his buddies. Henry is in the Army, back home on furlough. Both Scardino and Endersby oppose the Vietnam War. Farrow (Mia's sister, and daughter of John Farrow and Maureen O'Sullivan) has more or less a walk-on role that requires her to be shy and introverted until she gets into bed with someone. The photography is awkward at moments, and the film is riddled with cliched shots of sunsets, sex scenes in silhouette, and dope smoking. The direction i...
