This unaccomplished farce's satire of the music business is as idiotic as its sentimentalizing of one-hit wonders. Before Eminem, this film claims, there was a Caucasian rap star named MC Squared (Dave McCrae), and back in 1997 this honky rapper jammed into music history with his album "Theory of Sellativity."
