Sub-par Autry flick with him as a singing radio cowboy. A former employer is having financial problems with his rodeo, and Autry goes back to Wyoming to assist his old pal. Autry's performance is listless and his singing is poorly synchronized. Burnette and juvenile Strauch are look-alikes,
hence the character nicknames Frog and Tadpole. Actually, the whole film is about that clever. Direction and photography are okay, but the film is a departure from the normally high standards of Autry's work.
