Home From The Hill

Mitchum is a rich Texas landowner who cheats on wife Parker. Their grown son, Hamilton, and Mitchum's illegitimate son, Peppard, are about the same age. Both live on Mitchum's ranch. Scarred by his parents' stormy relationship and not wishing to follow in their footsteps, Hamilton hesitates to marry Patten. She has a child by him, but ironically it is Peppard who gives the child a legal father. Though it is a little longer than it need be, HOME FROM THE HILL is a fine film that handles its delicate subject with the utmost sensitivity.
