Jones is a stunt double for the temperamental and fragile cowboy star Withers. When Jones goes for leading lady Twelvetrees, Withers gets angry and attempts to frame the stunt man without success. But Jones gets caught in the middle of a bank robbery and despite his innocence he is jailed. His real-life younger brother Dickie Jones helps him escape and Jones becomes a hero when he captures the real robbers. A neat backstage look at cowboy films, with the tricks behind a lot of the seemingly dangerous stunts shown. The story has a certain charm and Jones is wonderful in his role.
