Totally shameless but self-accepting parody of the schlock movie business and Roger Corman's B-factory, New World Pictures. Rialson is a would-be actress who wants stardom. Her agent, Miller, sends her to Miracle Pictures, where she lands a role in the studio's latest epic, MACHETE MAIDENS OF MARATAU. But actress Woronov doesn't like competition, and suddenly there is a series of murders. The film ends with a shootout atop the famous Hollywood sign. HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD is that rarest of creatures: a parody of a parody that actually is funny and works well. Not to be missed by camp fans. leave a comment
