Street wants to produce a variety show but is turned down by a television sponsor. Determined, he takes Hughes and Vernon around the world to find acts. It's silly nonsense disguised as plot, and all the excuse necessary to showcase a variety of performers in one hour. An ice show, Chinese jugglers, Apache dancers, Irish jigs, and numerous other variety acts appear. It's fun, but a little campy today. leave a comment
