Webb is a Boston psychiatrist on holiday in South America, along with his spouse, Wyman, and daughters, St. John and Lynley. He finds himself spending most of his time trying to keep his girls away from men. He is angry when St. John falls for architect Henreid and becomes more enraged when it is discovered that St. John really is after Henreid's beatnik son, Minardos.
