A very minor comedy from Sellers in which he plays a lonely middle-aged man desperate for love. After discovering that a secretary's boy friend has been engaging in some illegal activities, Sellers blackmails her, forcing her to become his companion. Originally a television play, HOFFMAN, even with the talented Sellers, has few laughs and for the most part is simply tiresome. leave a comment
