Hit Parade Of 1947

Republic hadn't done an entry in its limited "Hit Parade" series since 1943, but here the studio resurrected the format with decent results. Albert and a trio of other performers (Moore, Edwards, and Lamb) form a musical nightclub act. Albert, a songwriter, falls in love with Moore. Their act is a hit and they are soon signed to a Hollywood contract, but when Moore goes on to a movie career, the other members go their separate ways.
