Plummer is an industrialist who has stolen $10 million by double-dealing both the mob and the cops. Donat is the head hood and sends his hit men, Chaykin and Rubinek, after Plummer. At the same time, CIA agent Gammell is after Plummer. Harris is employed as bodyguard to Plummer's sister, D'Angelo, and his wheelchair-bound mother, Reid.
