After more than a decade of appearing in forgettable cable productions and straight-to-video features, Ally Sheedy jumps-starts her career with a complex lead performance in this moody love story that also serves as a cautionary tale about the hazards of heroin abuse and unbridled ambition. Sheedy stars as Lucy Berliner, a famous — and famously strung out — photographer who's lured out of seclusion by Syd (Radha Mitchell), a young assistant editor for a glossy photography magazine.
