After coming into some banknotes, Walsh finds the money really belongs to Howard. The latter is trying to save his bankrupt fur business by buying anthrax-infected pelts. Howard is murdered and Walsh discovers this is the work of an old friend, Kydd, who is an ex-con. Kydd himself is killed
when the truck laden with furs he is driving crashes in a fiery explosion. Confusing--which harms the suspense and results in a rather ordinary and unthrilling thriller.
