A routine crime plot has an untrustworthy gang member, Collins, giving the slip to his two partners, Carney and Corey. The fugitive heads for small-town Iowa while closely pursued by his angry ex-associates. After the pair kill a gem-cutter who gets in their way, attorney Bridges gets on their trail.
