Fabulously silly computer-generated special effects dominate this otherwise unremarkable horror thriller, based on a bestselling pulp novel by Dean Koontz. Jeff Goldblum has a near-death experience that somehow sucks a demonic killer (Jeremy Sisto) out of the Great Beyond and into a theater near you. The dependable Christine Lahti can't do very much with her stock role, a suburban mother under threat. leave a comment
