This obscure British psychodrama stars Finch as a spineless bureaucrat married to Winters, a shrewish woman who harps on his inadequacies. After an intense argument with her husband, Winters declares she's had enough and flies back home to the US. Being alone suits Finch fine, and he goes about listening to classical music and tinkering in his garden. Finally Winters has a change of heart and announces her return.
