Murray escapes from jail and decides to enter college. Hiding out at Crane U., he joins the rowing team and leads them to victory. Before the big race, however, the investigating detective shows up on campus. He makes Murray a deal--if he throws the race, he can go free; otherwise, it's back
to the lock-up. Murray plays it straight and carries the crew across the finish line in first place. The cop then reveals that he was only testing Murray's honesty, and helps him gain his freedom. Songs are: "Just You and I" (Sam Perry, Clarence J. Marks), and "Wandering Onward."
