A scientist spends his every waking hour trying to develop a burn anti-toxin. His wife fails to understand his devotion to research and divorces him, taking son Moore with her. Of course, the anti-toxin saves Moore's life at the end of the film. Even Dickie Moore, who was close to the end of
his childhood here, can't inject life into this terminal case.
