O'Keefe and Scott are newlyweds who are only allowed a 48-hour honeymoon because of the sailor-groom's duties. For laughs the pair is continually interrupted by an onslaught of wacky characters. Between the bride's mother, Burke, and the groom's father, Menjou, the newlyweds barely get a
chance to be alone. A witty picture that also casts silent screen vamp Pola Negri as Menjou's jealous wife. She sings "Evening Star." The songs include the honeymooner's lament "Too Little, Too Late," and "Man in the Big Sombrero," both delivered by June Havoc. The film earned an Oscar nomination
