Hero's Island

Dillon, his wife Manx, their three children, and friend Oates make their new home on Bull Island, off the Carolina coast in 1718. They are attacked by fishermen who claim the island is theirs, and Dillon is killed. Castaway Mason is washed ashore and offers his assistance to Manx, but she is a deeply religious woman and doesn't want to resort to violence. Fisherman Torn joins up with the group, and he and Mason, who reveals that he is Blackbeard the pirate, team to defeat the brutal fishermen.
