Coming off the successful TV show "The Incredible Hulk," Lou Ferrigno seemed the perfect choice for Hercules, but a lame story line and poor special effects deflate the action. Most of the film takes place on the moon, with Zeus, Hera, and Athena (Claudio Cassinelli, Rossana Podesta, and
Delia Boccardo) causing problems for the mortals. Hercules must save Princess Cassiopea (Ingrid Anderson) from her kidnapers, so he flies through space and fights mechanical dragons that spit out laser bolts. A strange blend of STAR WARS technology and sword-and-sorcery style myth that doesn't
work at all. Ferrigno's lines were dubbed by another actor.
