Henry Aldrich For President

Henry Aldrich (Jimmy Lydon) runs for high-school class president in one of the best films of the "Aldrich" series--the first to star Lydon, who had replaced Jackie Cooper. Henry is nominated by a conniving rich kid whose intention is to split the votes and insure his own election. That plan backfires when the female candidate (Mary Anderson) falls for Henry and drops from the race. Complications arise as Henry is accused of stealing his opponent's speech, and someone tries to stuff the ballot boxes.
