Taut, kinetic suspense from American International Pictures. Hennessy (Rod Steiger, who's excellent) is an Irishman looking for revenge after his wife and child are killed in a Belfast shootout between British soldiers and the IRA. His plan is to emulate Guy Fawkes by blowing up the Houses
of Parliament when the royal family is in attendance. On his trail are a Scotland Yard detective (Richard Johnson) and an IRA provo (Eric Porter). Cleverly constructed and crisply directed.
