Cameron is a Korean War vet who finagles himself into part-ownership of Wills' mine. He convinces the old man that he was friends with Wills' son, who was killed in the war. A liar but a hard worker, Cameron tries to rebuild the mine, despite opposition from Russell, who is trying to get
the ownership papers for himself. The film includes one song, "Packin' in the Mail" (composed and sung by Wills).
