Hello Down There

1969, Movie, G, 88 mins

Randall designs an underwater house and, to prove that it works, has his family live in it. Needless to say, the family has problems adjusting to the new environment. The kids are part of a rock group that is trying to cut a record, and there are plenty of lame generation-gap jokes. This lackluster comedy was directed by the man responsible for TARANTULA and THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN. Richard Dreyfuss, in his third film, is wasted, as are the comedy talents of Rae, Stang, and Lembeck. Songs include "Hello Down There," "I Can Love You," "Glub," "Hey, Little Goldfish," "Just One More Chance." leave a comment
