Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II

A sequel to PROM NIGHT (1980) in name only (although Peter Simpson repeats his chores as producer), this film begins with a prolog set in 1957, as prom queen Mary Lou Maloney (Lisa Schrage) is accidentally burned to death by her jilted boy friend just as she is about to receive her tiara. Thirty years later the culprit, now played by Michael Ironside, is the principal of the school, his past indiscretion seemingly forgotten. It's just a few days prior to this year's prom and wholesome teen Vicki (Wendy Lyon) is a nominee for queen.
