Five American soldiers are lost in Tunisia during WW II. They can't use their radio because the Nazis are monitoring. The five make their way through the desert and find themselves in skirmishes with enemy patrols and aircraft, leaving Campo the only survivor. He comes upon a mine field and a thirsty German lieutenant with a map of mine placements. Campo gives him water in exchange for the map, but the Nazi tries to doublecross him.
