Hall is a noble sea captain who helps lovely South Sea island princess Haynes rid her domain of two murderous smugglers, Carradine and Mazurki, who have been forcing the natives to dive for pearls against their will. Enter corrupt French judge Lorre, who orders Carradine and Mazurki to be put on his private yacht. Lorre then brings the duo to a sunken ship containing valuable treasure and offers them their freedom and a cut of the spoils if they will assist in recovering the loot. The pair agree, and once free, they turn the tables on Lorre by locking him up. Eventually Hall catches up to the murderers and kills them both. Back on the island he is welcomed as a hero and liberator by the natives and their princess. The good cast is totally wasted. Associate producer Hall cast his father as the island chief Parea, thus allowing him to make his film debut at age 75. leave a comment
