Hell On Earth: Review

Five soldiers of different backgrounds and countries are caught in a bombardment during WW I and take shelter in a dugout in no-man's land. The film presents each man's life during peacetime and then their sudden involvement in the war. An Englishman, a Frenchman, a German, a German Jew, and a black man are in the dugout, and they voice their opinions and feelings on the war. An anti-war film which is extremely dated today.
