Unoriginal Bronson outing in which he plays a bookie who joins the Army to escape the hands of the law. But not even the rigidness of a soldier's life cannot tame his rebellious ways; only a woman, Rensing, can give Bronson some degree of respect. This same woman helps make him a hero when
she tells him of an underground movement plotting to kill President Dwight Eisenhower. These performances look so bad that even Bronson is a Laurence Olivier in comparison.
