So You Think You Can Dance champ Benji Schwimmer
What with the flawless, energetic performances, the "Marry Me" signs in the audience and the endless praise from the judges, it was no surprise that Benji Schwimmer won Fox's So You Think You Can Dance last Wednesday. But the 22-year-old swing dancer from Redlands, California, says he "didn't comprehend it" when host Cat Deeley read his name. What we can't comprehend is how Benji performed in the finale, hopped on a red-eye flight to New York, appeared on a couple of TV shows, and still managed to be such a gosh-darn nice guy when TVGuide.com caught up with him on Thursday morning.

Jase Wirey, Big Brother: All-Stars
Since Big Brother 5, Jase Wirey has settled down with his girlfriend Heidi (not the annoying Holly who he had a "showmance" with in the house) and has become a father figure to Heidi's daughter, Caleigh. Pretty impressive changes for the wild and crazy leader of the Four Horsemen alliance. But not everything has changed for the Big Brother 7 all-star — there was still the mandanna, his obsession with the man in the mirror, and his wild temper. TVGuide.com caught up with the new Jase to ask him about his recent stay in the BB house and about his unanimous eviction. Turns out he is a man of few words.
TVGuide.com: Good morning. You sound tired.
Jase: I'm not too thrilled about all this.
TVGuide.com: You seemed to hint that you'd be back — do you

Lauren "LC" Conrad, The Hills
When Lauren Conrad, star of MTV's Laguna Beach spin-off The Hills (Wednesdays at 10 pm/ET), dropped by the TV Guide offices on Monday, the questions came fast and plenty, as staffers sought out the scoop on her reality series. What's the deal with Heidi? What's happening with Jason? And what's the 411 on the LC-Kristin rivalry? Although Lauren seemed to have heard this particular reporter's comment on her resemblance to big-screen funny girl

Question: I'm wondering why, in this day and age, if a game goes into overtime, it messes up the TV lineup for that station. Heck, we can put a man on the moon, but we can't seem to figure out how to do this. It's insane. I love to watch Cold Case, but it's rarely aired on time because of some game before 60 Minutes and Cold Case. Isn't there something that can be done so this doesn't happen so often? Just hoping, I guess. Thanks for your time.
Answer: There's actually a very good reason it's done that way, Deirdre: a 1968 game between the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets known in NFL lore as "the Heidi game." And you may be annoyed with the current system, but I guarantee that your irritation is nothing compared to the fury genera

Project RunwayI know it's not unusual, but it's so unfortunate that the finalists had to pull an all-nighter right before the biggest event of their career so far. Even after sewing all night, Daniel had what looked like either the show's assistants or the models themselves sewing on buttons backstage. But onstage you couldn't tell any of this, especially when he did a happy little jig for his family. I am still drooling over the white coat and the shirt with the dipping back. And I hope his and Chloe's dresses with pockets (along with Amy Adams' and Sandra Bullock's Oscar dresses) are the start of a trend. On the other hand, the first jacket looked like a couch, and when Rebecca tripped away in that brown dress, I could see M

Project RunwayAfter all these weeks of having only two days to complete a project, you'd think seven months would be enough time for 12 outfits. Apparently not. But before we get to that, let me say how nice it was to see this other side of Santino, eating dinner at his friend's house with a little girl crawling on his lap, and even confessing about his insecurities. Looooved seeing all those '80s Sears portraits of the finalists and their families. And the product placement worked: I officially covet that Saturn roadster Tim rented.
So far Santino's dress actually looks the most wearable, ironically. That pleated rainbowy dress is gorgeous. Chloe's ginormous poofy-sleeved jacket thing was more over-the-top and weird. Tim

Project RunwayI did not expect a regular ol' reunion show to elicit such tears of laughter. Brilliant montage editing. Brilliant idea to get Guadalupe wasted before taping. And yes, I am truly happy that they've kept Santino on the show until the finale — how else would we have so many excellent clips of him: talking back to the judges; talking smack about the other designers (OK, he was too mean to Diana); doing impressions of Tim Gunn (my stomach hurt by the end of his broken "Make it work" robot routine); and, of course, singing in "Project Runway: The Musical," costarring Andrae and Nick.
In the actual reunion footage, Santino was rather weak, defending his nas

Project RunwayPoor Daniel Franco: Nice guys really do finish last, or at least close to it. And he seems like the epitome of a nice guy. I'd actually like to hang out with him; he just seems cool. I mean he’s a totally detail-oriented guy who focuses on the small stuff instead of the big picture, but if he were working on his own collection or a couture line, I think he’d be just fine. I bet his handmade garments are just a beautiful quality. And while he was ousted, he went out with grace and charm like so few reality contestants, probably because he’d already been down this line before. He played well with his team and totally took the blame for the failure on the task. Personally, I like the individual tasks, but it was an interesting exercise in seeing how well people
