HEAVENLY BODIES is not the biography of Galileo. In fact, it isn't much of a story at all. In this Canadian feature, which tried to cash in on the aerobics craze, Dale is an anonymous steno in a secretarial pool. She and her pals dream of opening their own dance studio, and in no time at
all, with no visible means of support, they turn an old warehouse into a high-tech dancercize studio called, of course, Heavenly Bodies. Her classes are so successful that she ends up on the wrong side of Alton, who owns a rival studio. It's yet another copy of FLASHDANCE, and Dale even looks a
bit like Jennifer Beals. The film has a few funny moments, especially the final sequence...
