Hearts In Bondage: Review
The Civil War battle between the ships Monitor and Merrimac serves as the backdrop for a standard soap opera plot. The familiar romantic angle is taken, this time between naval hero Dunn and the sweet Clarke. This was the first of Lew Ayres' infrequent directing efforts.
