He Who Rides A Tiger

Bell is a schizoid cat burglar who is sometimes nice to children but on occasion is violent and hot-tempered. He falls in love with a woman who works in an orphanage and is ignorant of his "other side." When he tells her of his nighttime activities, she leaves him. Before long she returns, but he turns his back on her, again assuming the criminal life. At times too sentimental, at other times annoying, but consistently well-acted.
