The only excuse for this terrible film is self-indulgence. It allows director-writer Davis a chance to express some of his trite philosophical meanderings. Even by 1978 these ideals seemed old-fashioned and not worth wasting energy or time considering. The plot concerns a New York hippy's excursion among Mennonites in Pennsylvania.
