Based on a true incident in which Jefferson Davis in pre-Civil War times tried to set up a camel corps in Texas, this picture never moves past dull, sitcom humor. BENJI director Camp tries his hand at presenting humpbacks this time and finds them considerably less responsive to his cutesy methods.
