It's the quintessential Astaire-Rogers musical, complete with a silly plot, sillier romance, Art Deco sets, plenty of great dance numbers and a slew of wonderful songs, including "Cheek to Cheek." This time around, the mistaken-identity plot revolves around Rogers thinking the amorous Astaire is really her best friend's husband, whom she's never actually met. She flees to Venice; Astaire, thankfully, follows. With Helen Broderick, Lucille Ball and Edward Everett Horton.
