When the IRS tries to take away the antique store-soup kitchen run by Beverly (Geraldine Page), her nephew, Harry (Edward Herrmann), comes to her rescue. After she drops dead of a heart attack during a subsequent court appearance, Harry removes several military souvenirs--including a real tank--from the store and declares his own war on the IRS. Although satisfying in spots, HARRY'S WAR as a whole lacks cohesion. leave a comment
