Harper Valley, P.T.A.

This is a little joke that wears thin after 20 minutes. Sexy Eden--addicted to short skirts, tight pants, and revealing garb--is regarded as the town hussy by local PTA board members, and they intend to make life rough on her teenage daughter Swift at Harper Valley High School until Eden packs up and departs. She fights back with the help of Fabray, taking photos of woman-chasing board members and even managing to produce some pink elephants to drive town drunk Paulsen looney. None of it works. The laughs are purely slapstick, and Eden's bumps and grinds seem out of place and embarrassing to watch. The script is forced and feeble, the direction flat.
