Nelson is a middle-class girl forced to quit school when she becomes pregnant. From there she follows an inevitable trail through marijuana, LSD, prostitution, and finally death. The producers of this film must not have been sure whether they had an educational, moralizing movie or a
trashy exploitation picture. Whichever, it's a downer.
