This western adventure in the style of Sam Peckinpah has Coburn escaping from jail and seeking revenge on ex-lawman Heston, the man who put him in jail and killed Coburn`s wife. To draw Heston out of retirement, Coburn kidnaps his daughter, threatening to rape her. The story is a rough and realistic portrait of the final days of a Wild West being subdued by civilization.
